To Grover With Love A Tribute To Grover Washington Jr.
In December of 1999 the world lost one incredible prolific musician, Grover Washington Jr. Unequivocally the true father of Smooth Jazz. 20 years after his death, I offer this tribute concert that will feature music he wrote. Two dynamic bands will be bringing you an evening of great music. The Jimmie Highsmith Jr., band featuring the talents of my mentor and world renowned Drummer/Producer Curtis Kendrick of Super group Cabo Frio. Bass extraordinaire Luis Carrion and Keyboard Master Diontaye Thompson.
Starting off the evening and setting the tone will be National Recording Artists Paradigm Shift. A powerhouse Jazz Trio that has traveled world burning up stages In Europe, Asia and the United States.
This will be one amazing evening you don’t want to miss!!!!
